About the Tour

This two hour in-depth exploration of closes and forgotten streets of what was the second city of Scotland before 1674 derives from Prof. McKean's discovery of original material.

The visit focuses upon the ancient city centre, starting at the town walls (DCA), passing via the glorious Renaissance graveyard ‘The Howff,’ to the exploration of the Baltic Maritime Quarter, and a visit inside Dundee's only restored medieval complex facing the High Street, Gardyne's Land.
