| The Hist-shorey project
The Shore’s history project was conceived by a core group of 12 young people. With funding from Young Roots Heritage Lottery the 14 month project proceeded to research and promote the history of a building, known as the Coffee House, in Dundee's former docklands area.
As part of National Doors Open Day, 2010, the group presented their findings about the building, the people who lived there and the surrounding area.
The next part of the project involves passing on that knowledge to other young people. This will in part be acheived through interpretation of the history via drama, art and film.
