Karen's wealth of knowledge regarding Dundee and it's (in)famous bard Mr William Topaz McGonagall, was an absolute God send to me!
Without Karen's expertise and help I doubt I would have completed my documentary on McGonagall for my course.

Thank you so much Karen! Hopefully see you again at the next Supper & McGonagall!

Ross, it was my pleasure to indulge in McGonagall's life.

Went on the witches blood tour on Saturday, it was very informative and thoroughly enjoyable. Going to book another tour in the summer. Karen is so knowledgble about Dundee I could listen to her all night.

What aboot the seven sisters at the north gate of balgay ?
What aboot TheTailsman and the earl of Huntingdon ?
What aboot The Craft and the nine trades ?
What about the wise fish above the council tax office ?
What aboot the Two octagonal fountains with the three steps and the elements ?
What aboot Jacobs stone and the Ruthvens and Jacobs ladder at Balgay ?
What aboot the Chevalier ? etc etc etc

There is more than meets the EYE.

Harry, you mention many deserving features about the city. The Earl of Huntingdon and The Nine Trades feature regularly in my medieval and 3J's tours and the summer Howff evenings. Sadly, Balgay is outwith my licenced zone but does appear in my regularly updated images, as do the City Square fountains. I hold many stories that I will include when given the appropriate opportunity.

I took the Howff Graveyard tour one night in July. It was excellent and very informative. Karen is a great guide bursting with enthusiasm and a great knowledge of her subject
Friends have also taken the Dundee Law tour and were very impressed.
If you're interested in the history you've got to try a Scotia Heritage tour.
Highly recommend it!
